COMMUNITY SUPPORT

In 2025, 58 Grafton was blessed in SO many ways:

1) The stars aligned for the studio shell to be erected in a way and form of which we’ll always be proud. Our deepest gratitude goes out to Stephen at Green Mountain Post & Beam for our splendid largely exposed frame, Andrew & the team who assembled & erected the gorgeous timber frame kit, Aziz and Farid at A-Z Carpentry& Tile, Thad & the Foard Panel team, Justin of Aither Roofing, and our angel carpenter Todd Hill who stepped in and up to ensure the quality of the craftsmanship of the new studio.

2) The collaboration with so many community partners including West River Valley Thrives, Christine at Yoboseyo, Marilyn of local lumpia fame, the Benny Todd’s team, Chelsea at WYLDCRAFT-VT, Emmet at Big Boy Bagels, Brianna & Griffin at Bumbles Birria, and Mama Maria Gyros & More. We also supported community events on The Common including the Grace Cottage Hospital Day Fair, Pickle Day, Townshend Pumpkin Fest, and the elementary school’s Trunk or Treat event; and

3) The appearance of Theresia, a talented young woman halfway around the world, who jumped into all aspects of business development that had to do with technology and brought 58 Grafton out of the marketing dark ages and into the world of Google Maps, Google Business, Instagram, SquareSpace, and so much more. This permitted us to boost awareness of our vision for 58 Grafton as well as numerous events in 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Idealism, optimism, our savings, and plenty of good old hard work has gotten us pretty far to date but we have one more hill to get over before we are in a position to offer the full range of services planned for 58 Grafton. We feel very grateful to the community members who have grasped what we are trying to create and inquired about how they might support our efforts.

  • So, we have decided to launch a small fundraising campaign to help us complete the new studio’s bathroom and kitchen facilities by the busy fall 2026 season. Our top priority is a restroom for customer and emergency public use. Secondly, we are seeking support to help equip the new kitchen for ingredient processing, small batch value-added production, and catering preparation so that the food trailer can be open for more hours in 2026 and beyond.

  • We strive to support and mentor young people and community members with start-up food business dreams by providing a range of services including access to 58 Grafton’s facilities as well as internships, business development, sourcing, marketing, distribution, and bookkeeping support.
