Big News!
Vermont Quince is relocating to 58 Grafton Road in Townshend in 2026!
The 14-year-old specialty food business will be coming off a short hiatus brought about by the 2023 double loss of its wonderful, long-time co-packers to retirement and the entire local quince harvest to an early freeze. A tough decision was made to postpone the highly anticipated launch of a shelf-stable version of Vermont Quince’s signature membrillo and instead, direct resources to the construction of production and storage facilities to reduce reliance on other businesses making their own significant decisions impacting Vermont Quince’s planning and development.
As of March 2026, Village Specialties is consulting with the Vermont Department of Health to ensure that the new studio kitchen meets the requirements of the various agencies involved with the permitting of commercial kitchens. If all goes according to plan, the kitchen @ 58 Grafton will be used for the processing of the local 2026 quince harvest!
